Quilted Queensland maple charcuterie board

Queensland maple is a gorgeous wood from Australia. Owing to it's beauty, it's often used in cabinetry and guitar stock.   

The ripples you see are a visual feature of the wood. They cannot be felt but they shine, almost like a hologram, when the light hits the board.

While intended as a charcuterie board, it is finished with food safe oils so it can be used safely as a cutting board.
